Right now he looks more worried/concerned than dangerous, but the states aren’t mutually exclusive… particularly when the Emperor is watching.

So much to worry about in the big city: look both ways when crossing the street, look down to watch out for overflowing sewage, look up to watch out for falling pieces of Colosseum, look behind to make sure your kid hasn’t wandered off to cut some purses, plus that nagging feeling that someone just walked over, measured, and considered digging your grave….

WOW!! The Roman adventure begins. Thanks for the update.

So Titus has found Felix, which is inevitable since his name is in the survivor list, and for now is content with watching him. That makes me nervous because it means that he fears other people will want to use Felix’s name to endanger his rule.

That also means that there are other people besides the Flavian brothers, who knows about Felix’s connection to Marcus Antonius and worse Julius Caesar.

Also, it seems that shouty guy is now working under Titus at this time. The only silver lining in this storm cloud is that they believe that he still is in Misenum.

    Game of Volcanoes has begun!.

      Late Summer-Early Autumn Is Coming.

Hmm. It lacks a certain punch.

You should give Urbana’s daughter a name. Even if it is Prima or Urbana Junior (sounds better)

    1) Yay! Romans!
    2) Have any of them (except Felix) ever seen a Big City before? (Herculaneum and Pompeii would count as small / medium cities, I think.)
    3) Yay! Romans!

Iusta has never been out of her home town, and Urbana probably hasn’t either. Damon has been halfway across the empire, but spent an awful lot of time locked in a storage shed, so…

After a while, letting a nervous cat ride on your shoulder gets inconvenient (and painful).

I can see the time spent in Felix’s belt, but, without it, someone stupid might think that he’s a civilian…
Also, how his (correct) clothing folds…yay! ^^

I’m working on Felix’s Step-by-Step Guide to Getting Dressed in the Morning Like a Proper Roman.

      (No, really, I am.)

There will also have to be Iusta’s Step-by-Step Guide to Getting Dressed in Like a Proper Roman Lady (with the help of one’s Hairdresser, Makeup Artist, and Drapery Pleater).
