A lot of the pages got to pencils stage. I’ll post some of the tidier ones.
A pretty typical level of pencil details for me. A lot of filling-in and correction (collars… I hate collars) happens at the inking stage. I’d like to practice movement, horses, and night scenes, so I’ll definitely be inking this spread.[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
To produce pages faster, I was experimenting with going directly from very loose thumbnails to detailed inks. Here’s a page in progress. I would have fixed some parts of this if it were going to be final art.
Itty bitty thumbnail sketch and partial pencils… not to relative scale. Itty bitty thumbnails are quite itty bitty.
