Iusta dreams and look who appears, Isis. Does Cleopatra has her Mark Anthony? I’d say yes. Is that what she wanted? I also think yes, from the beginning.

Even though the gods have winnowed the cast, I’m having trouble placing who some of these people are. (Partly it’s because your renderings keep improving, and they look a little difference.)
    This series is amazing.

Well, the couple of course are Felix and Iusta. The dream woman is Isis. I think this is her first appearance in the story. So far the only god we’ve seen was Venus.

      Does the Dramatis Personae help?

      (And thank you!)

Some, though you’ll notice several of the surviving characters have evolved in appearance.

Love your drawings. Love the history and romance, too, but your art is phenomenal.

I like this whole set. Isis is glorious, with the blackhair full of stars. keep drawing!

No drawing for me today, alas (I promised to do portfolio reviews at an event), but the next couple of comics are queued up and ready to go.

Another beautiful page. I like how sleeping Felix’s knuckles deresolve where his hand breaks out of the frame.

I notice that the characters are Felix, Justa and Seianti, not Felix, Justa and Isis. Hrmmmm.

There. I’ve made it even more ambiguous for you.

      🙂

I didn’t read the character list. At first I thought it was Seianti, but the stars in her hair made me decide that it was Isis instead. After all, Iusta has been complaining that Isis visit her on dreams.

Seianti might be Isis’s guise in Iusta’s dreams. Or vice versa.

        Seianti’s face sometimes eludes me.
