Copic markers are fun to play with, but on the papers I’ve tried so far, I end up with white speckles. Fabulous artist Alitha suggested playing with them on a printout on plain old cheap copier paper; and in fact they blend well and the paper holds up to lots of Copic-related abuse, but it still speckles. I’m not motivated to buy Copic’s own brand of paper to see if it works better.

The next comic has been delayed by both work craziness and trying to remember how to draw this character. I’m going to finish a comic for today if I have to glue myself to this seat and not move for 12 hours.
Pen of the day: one side of the double-sided Pentel Keityo Marker Pen. (Plus a grey Copic because it is getting a bit dark out there, but not as dark as the other side of the Keityo.)
