Rat of the day

That same guy on a dune. Why not.

Also, look: clouds. I used to love painting clouds as a kid. Clouds and rocks, all day long, and sometimes individual blades of grass.

After all that.

I don’t care if this gets me called a drama queen; I have been going through drama, and there it is. So, having discovered there’s nothing I can do that doesn’t remind me—watch TV, walk to the train, stare at the cat—I’d might as well draw and be reminded. In spite of a clean bill of health from the doctor, my hand and arm still hurt, but I’m plowing on through with my new drawing toys. The art looks…well…if nothing else, it exists. So, the story will resume this week after all. Just so you know….

Rats

TroyInstead of drawing Romans I have been drawing Rats. Apparently it is therapeutic to keep drawing after the world ends, after all.

Here are a couple of sketches of the day.

Anyone else out there know this character from way back when? Anyone?
