No new sketch today! It’s almost midnight and all I have in the sketchbook is yet another Felix-in-uniform. Let’s see if I can do two big pieces for tomorrow.

For a quick sketch today I was going to follow up the other Felixes with a Felix at 14, when he runs away from home to join the Legions. But he came out a bit…Hobbit-y.

Since the previous sketch was Felix at 18, here he is at, oh, let’s call it early 20s. Actually, we never see Felix in plate armour (lorica segmentata) except in SPQR Noir, the page created for Free Comic Book Day 2007. (2007? Wow, you folks have been waiting a long time for this story.)
I’ll work on the proportions 🙂
