Ages and ages (and ages) ago when I started the latest comic, I mismeasured the page, and one of the problems from that is that the usual font size has ended up much too small on screen. I’ll be redoing it to make it more legible.
But…
At the moment, I can post the comic on Patreon and LiveJournal, but not in its proper place in the “new comics” position here on SPQRBlues.com. Something in the latest software updates broke the site. I’m trying to figure out how to fix it. Tomorrow I’ll try to figure it out. I’ve been working on that for a while tonight and I’m mentally deflated right now. Especially after the site changed the “work in progress” to “El Perro del Hortelano.” You see that too, right? It’s not just me losing my mind?

Was your original tag “dog in the manger”? Because that’s what the Intertoobz tells me that the Spanish translates to. So obviously, yes, I see it.
Honest, my original tag was just “work in progress.”
Could it be ghosts? In the machine?
Oh, and I like the office manager’s comment about this raggedy-ass Aramaic street preachers. Probably just another one of those damn fad religions…
I’m sure it’s only a passing fad. No readon at ALL for the Empire to worry it’ll change the venerable status quo.
Nah. You know how it is; semper aliquid novi…
“El perro del hortelano” is a Spanish tale about a farmer’s dog guarding his garden. A couple of rabbits complain that the farmer’s dog neither eats the produce nor allows others (meaning the rabbits) to eat it.
I find it an apt title to your problems. 🙂
Much too apt!
After working once, the “add new comic” feature has stopped working again. And I actually do have another comic to post! But I’m falling asleep over the laptop now, so I’ll try troubleshooting again tomorrow.
