Love these sketches. They have a glow that gives them life, even in so vague a form. (Maybe because they’re so unfinished.) Of course, without the dialogue, it’s hard to understand the story.
Yeah. I was going to comment about how un-Roman they looked, but I guessed you knew what you were doing and would let us in on the fun eventually.

Thanks. I was even starting to wonder if I could do the book these were created for in (cleaned-up) pencils instead of inks. I’d have to redraw the pages that are already inked, but that wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing, since the I think the art gets more refined as I get further into the book–but it’s all moot now.
I have over a hundred pages at about this rough pencils stage and no idea what sort of new dialogue and story to create with them.
Well, other than adding zombies. I come back to “when in doubt, add zombies” a lot.
