This is art for one of the Kickstarter prints. I originally hand-watercoloured it, but that didn’t print well, so I redid it digitally and got better results.


The print includes a verse from Catullus:

Value all the old men’s gossip less than copper coins.
Suns set yet rise again, but when our brief light sets
that long night will be an endless sleep . . .

Not so much grim but an encouragement to enjoy life while you can. Gather ye rosebuds while ye may, and all that.
