Whoah! I didn’t see that coming. But at least now we know why the kitten was important!
    What next we wonders, Precious.

But of course it IS April Fools, so things may be different in the morning…

But this is exactly how the towns of Herculaneum and Pompeii were saved in real life!

It may be historically accurate (recent research has established that Herculaneum and Pompeii were actually buried in compacted garbage, dumped there by mafia-controlled garbage companies in the 15th century) but it sure makes for an anti-climactic story. Now all the people fleeing the city can just mosey on home to clean up the mess. But indeed Felix’s step son is no great lose… little weasel.

And the people-casts found in the ruins? Mafia hits of course… particularly the dog on the chain.

I like Damon. He’s only a weasel form years of abuse.

Two of my favourite characters to draw/plot for have been Damon and Calatoria Themis. I don’t ever want to invite them to dinner, but they have reasons for being the way they are. And I always get to draw such cranky expressions for them ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh yes, Calatoria always looks like’s she’s just swallowed a particularly bitter pill… or maybe a small horned-toad. And Damon gets those secretive, sullen-foxy looks when he’s trying to be invisible to the Blues. Waiting patiently for more… well okay impatiently. But I’ve got a cold/fever right now, so there’s an excuse….

Oh dear–have tea, orange juice, vitamin C, take two leeches, and read a comic in the morning. That’ll cure everything.

As the Romans used to say: Eat a live horned-toad first thing every morning and it’ll be the worst thing that happens all day.

No, just the worst thing that happens to either of those involved.

Clearly the Roman origin of the “Throw Wesley Crusher out an airlock” trope.

    Best thing all week! ๐Ÿ˜€

      Poor kid. He means well.

Hmm. Wait. No, he doesn’t mean well, at all, except maybe to the kitten.
