Sketch of the day: this other pencil
Some sketches with Mitsubishi Hi-Uni 8B and 6B pencils.
This is supposed to be a fancier pencil than the 4B used in the previous sketches. At least on this paper, these softer leads don’t glide with the same buttery smoothness. Also, I can’t tell any difference between the 6B and the 8B.

I love these sketches of Iusta.
You are one of the few comic artist that I know that really differentiates the faces of the characters. Most rely on visual cues, like dressing, unique hairdos that never change or stuff like glasses, hair bows, head bands, etc.
But you actually make them feel as portraits of living people and you can change their hair styles with impunity because each one is unique.
BTW, You naughty girl. You made Iusta pose nude for the 6B test, the one next to the portrait of Damon. 😉
Thank you for the compliment! I have a unique vision of what each person looks like in my head, but sometimes it takes a little work to put that on the page/screen 🙂
With all that hair to cover up with, Iusta is never really nude 😀
