Damon-Damien… that’s the possessed kid from Exorcist or whatever… I always knew the boy was a turd. Born to be hanged… or maybe parbroiled.
Something in your comments makes me begin to think you don’t like the adorable little imp….
Can I help it if the Artist draws him like a weasel… never looking anybody in the face, eyes cast aside somewhere, like he’s on the lookout for the Blues…. or the next Mark. Otherwise, I think he’s just dandy, and would make a fine sacrifice to Vulcan!
Does he get any points for rescuing a kitten? 🙂
I suppose it’s not so important, so long as the Bearded Geezer makes the boat!
Yes, rescuing a kitten moves him up one entire circle in hades, or takes two weeks off time in purgatory if he’s Catholic.
But it kinda depends on what he did with the kitten afterwards.
I hear they are delicious.
Used to know a guy who would ask people, “Do you like cats?” and if they said “Yes,” and reply, “Me too! We should swap recipes!”
Mind you, this is pretty much how I feel about children…
Oh yes: particularly when dipped in fish-pickle sauce and then lightly toasted with a pycroclastic cloud!
That’s the problem with pyroclastic clouds–you can’t adjust the temperature and they always carbonize the toast.
Great page!
Thanks! I’m inking the next one now–my goal is to get it online before midnight, then I can work on Saturday’s comic tomorrow.
I’m hooked on this comic. I got here from an ad on another webcomic. Initially I was put off by the small frames, but the pattern really grows on you as you read on. Thanks for making the effort on the update. The new page looks great!
Hi again! Part of the challenge when I started the comic was to tell an “epic” story in small panels like a daily newspaper comic strip, and it’s been an interesting project. A little squished sometimes.
The next project I draw, I’d like to stretch back out into full pages. That’s going to take some getting used to again…
Great page, as usual.
